Who We Are

HCP Management Ltd. is a Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) Manager licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius. We are the appointed Fund Manager of HCP Investments (Fund).

The Fund is a Global Investment Fund focused on long-term investments in growth companies across the globe as well as in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-enhanced businesses. The Fund aims to maintain a balanced portfolio across the Emerging Markets of Africa, the GCC as well as South and Southeast Asia. The Fund is sector agnostic.

HCP Investments is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as Category I Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI, Cat I). The Fund's FPI Cat I licence grants the eligibility to issue Offshore Derivative Instruments (ODI), enjoy increased compliance efficiencies and, regarding stock and currency derivatives, increased position limits.

The Fund

HCP Investments (HCPI)

The primary objective of HCP Investments (HCPI) is capital growth. The Fund invests across a diversified spectrum of instruments, including fixed-income securities, primary and secondary market equities, performance-linked loans, derivatives and distressed assets — spanning multiple markets and macro sectors.

HCPI maintains a particular affinity for sectors that underpin long-term structural growth in Africa, Europe and Asia, notably renewables, healthcare, transportation and logistics, as well as software and technology services. The Fund seeks to build and maintain a diversified portfolio of equities and equity derivatives, whether quoted or traded on recognised exchanges or over-the-counter (OTC) markets, including through investments in American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) representing securities of companies in its target geographies.

The Fund's focus geographies encompass African markets, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, India, Indonesia, Singapore and other high-growth emerging and frontier markets.

Neermal is a Mauritian national and a seasoned professional in the financial non-banking sector, with a career shaped by progressively senior roles across regulated institutions, including asset managers, fund managers and licensed management companies. He has served as Executive Director, Managing Director and Head of Operations & Business Development for a number of these entities, gaining a thorough understanding of the operational, regulatory and commercial dimensions of institutional fund management.

Neermal holds a degree in Administration & Management and an MBA from the University of Birmingham, UK. He is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional (ICSA, UK), a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP, UK), a licensed Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors. This combination of academic rigour and professional accreditation underpins his disciplined approach to fiduciary responsibility and institutional governance.

Over the course of his career, Neermal has served on the boards of a wide range of client companies, including a power-generating energy company ranked among the top five globally. He is currently the Managing Director of LTS Management Services Limited, a Management Company and Trustee licensed by the FSC Mauritius, and holds directorships in various funds approved by the BVI FSC and the Bahamas Securities Commission — a testament to the trust placed in his judgement across multiple jurisdictions.

Antonino (Nino) is a Swiss national and an economist and lawyer by education, bringing more than two decades of hands-on experience across European, GCC and Asian markets to HCP Management Ltd. He holds a Master's degree from the University of St.Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, complemented by an executive degree from The Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

Throughout his career, Nino has held executive-level positions in the financial services industry, cultivating a deep understanding of cross-border fund structuring, regulatory frameworks and institutional governance. He has successfully obtained the Chartered Digital Asset Analyst I (CDAA®) qualification, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of digital asset innovation. He is also a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt® and an accredited client advisor under the Swiss Financial Services Act.

Nino currently mentors and advises companies in India, Luxembourg and Switzerland, with a particular focus on FinTech and financial services firms. His counsel spans corporate governance, risk management and business growth strategies across the Europe, GCC and Asia corridor — always guided by the conviction that sound governance and thoughtful risk stewardship are the foundations of sustainable value creation.
